About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SIRA Consultant (3+ years of direct SIRA experience) to support our clients in the financial sector with implementing and optimizing their Systematic Integrity Risk Analysis (SIRA) frameworks. As a SIRA Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping financial institutions identify, assess, and mitigate integrity risks (e.g., money laundering, fraud, bribery, and corruption), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while enhancing their overall risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Risk Assessments:
- Perform in-depth Systematic Integrity Risk Analyses to identify and assess key risks associated with financial integrity, including financial crime, fraud, and regulatory non-compliance.
- Analyze organizational structures, products, services, customer profiles, and jurisdictions to develop risk models tailored to each institution’s needs.
SIRA Framework Design & Implementation:
- Design, implement, and enhance SIRA frameworks aligned with local and international regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, CFT).
- Assist clients in creating effective risk assessment tools and procedures for ongoing monitoring of integrity risks.
- Ensure the SIRA framework integrates with the organization’s broader compliance, risk, and internal control frameworks.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Gather, interpret, and analyze data from internal and external sources to assess risks and vulnerabilities within financial operations.
- Develop and present comprehensive reports, summarizing findings, recommendations, and actionable steps for risk mitigation.
Regulatory Compliance & Best Practices:
- Provide expert guidance on evolving regulatory landscapes and industry best practices related to integrity risk.
- Ensure compliance with international standards, such as the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) recommendations and EU/US regulations.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders (regulators, auditors, senior management) to ensure alignment with compliance requirements.
Training & Advisory Services:
- Deliver tailored training sessions to senior management and staff on SIRA principles, risk identification, and mitigation strategies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management, compliance teams, and other stakeholders on integrity risks, regulatory changes, and industry trends.
Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor and review the effectiveness of existing risk assessment methodologies and recommend improvements based on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
- Advise on the adoption of advanced technologies (e.g., machine learning, AI) to enhance SIRA capabilities and risk detection efficiency.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Law, Compliance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in risk management, AML, or compliance (e.g., CAMS, ICA, CFE) are preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or financial crime, with a focus on the financial services industry.
- Proven experience in conducting and managing SIRA, particularly within financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of global financial regulations and compliance frameworks (AML/CFT, KYC, GDPR, etc.).
Skills:
- Deep knowledge of integrity risk management, including anti-money laundering, fraud prevention, and counter-terrorist financing.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and risk quantification.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex risk concepts to senior management.
- High proficiency in risk management software, databases, and advanced Excel; familiarity with automation and AI tools is a plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with client teams.
